Writing Great Online Advertisements with Copy writing Skills.
This article demonstrates the essentials that you need to understand in order to write effective online Advertising Copy.
Internet advertising on the Internet leaves a lot to be desired. We have tricky advertising methods such as warning windows that pop up at us from nowhere. Users have to deal with pop up windows & pop under widows. The main reason that these are used is to grab user's attention.. and fast! What we find is that most Internet users are used to these and they are nothing more than irritating because they often end up going to multiple sites that there is no way of getting away from. We definitely don't recommend using these dated Internet Advertising tactics due to this fact.
The following point will be sure to help you with your Online Ad Writing skills:
When Writing Ads, Begin with the end in mind.
It is of high importance to understand exactly what it is that you are trying to achieve. You may want to target a niche audience, so you may be wanting to aim at zeroing in on a few hundred or thousand Web Users.
Know which are the most effective websites in which to do this.
Web Sites that have closely related content and consequently a similar audience will be of the most benefit. Also look at larger Web Sites that can also have the similar type of audience but with higher amounts of traffic and therefor, higher price range in which to advertise. They can be cost-effective, but it is worth doing your research and definitely worth sending a few emails to enquire on pricing.
Make sure your Ad is written with the Niche Target Audience that you are trying to target.
To do this effectively, you must understand your market on the sites of which you are marketing. The Advertising message and the way it is written will obviously use different jargon for a Surfing Website to that of a Internet Marketing Web Site For Example. Understand as much as you can about the audience that you are targeting, otherwise you could come off as a phony... and we don't want that.
The Ad Copy writing Process
The content of the Ad is extremely important. The copy writing should clearly distinguish your product from your competitors. Be Sure to Use a attention grabbing Headline and remember to make it Benefit Driven. Your headline is the most important part of the Ad. It is responsible for grabbing prospect's attention and therefor leading them to click on your ad.

Can You See How This Ad Would Grab ANY Mechanics attention instantly?
The Principal is really quite simple... Find a target audience that could be looking for your product and place an Attention Grabbing Ad Where they are likely to see it. Pretty Easy eh?
Once they click on your ad, you should concentrate on getting their Name and Email Address. This will allow you to follow them up with marketing material. We Wont discuss that here, we will save that for another article. Right Now, we are concentrating on just writing the ads.
Design the ad so it looks like it belongs on the sites where you're advertising
Make it looks as though it fits within the website on which you are advertising. However, with the headline, make sure it stands out, usually try to make the headline a red, bold font... usually something like Arial or Verdana. For the advanced users, if you are creating a Graphic ad, it usually makes the font look better if you close the spacing up between the letters. We can do this by using a negative letter spacing. You can achieve this in Graphics programs in which you are creating the ad
Split Test with a Couple Of Versions of each.
You can create a few versions of your ad by testing the headline and the message within the ad itself, you can also change colour schemes, fonts and colours. By Split testing (this refers to testing the different versions and seeing which works best) you are able to find out the best possible ads and then using the best performing ad (the one that gets the most clicks from prospects visiting the website on which you are advertising) and run with that particular ad... makes sense doesn't it?
I hope that helps you with your online advertising. If implemented, these simple tips can make a massive difference to your return on investment!
